A company's releasing a Guitar Hero ripoff that doesn't make you taint your soul by rocking out to tunes by Satan.
Slated for a September release, Guitar Praise features a diverse Christian Rock song list, including "Undo Me" by Jennifer Knapp, "Jesus Freak" by dc Talk and "This Fragile Breath" by Todd Agnew. And of course, the game comes with a plastic wireless guitar, which unfortunately isn't shaped like a Holy Cross.
You can also purchase an extra guitar separately for two-player mode. By tilting your guitars upward you'll be able to send each other "surprises."
You can pre-order a copy now for $100. Christian software company Digital Praise is introducing Guitar Praise to Mac OS X and Windows Vista and XP users. Let us pray the company will bless us with a console release.

Cause they can make a lot of money off of dumb Christians, that's why! I saw this at the homeschool convention, and I 'bout died. It's so hilarious to watch. Ned Flanders kids totally would have played it.
I agree with above poster......what makes an inanimate object "Christian" anyway???? Is there such a thing as a "Christian" plumber or electrition????
blessings.....I saw this at a homeschool event also.....
@SunnySusan - Valley Home Educators Convention in Modesto by any chance!?
Unbelief: worldliness due to lack of faith (i.e. focus on subjective faith). They see this world and not the mountain that cannot be touched or the King who made all things, but they feel the need to praise God, so they blindly take what they see with their eyes and try to make it holy all by themselves and according to their own inventions. A sort of idolatry. It's scary how quickly and in how many ways we become idolators without realizing it, and even when we try to steer clear of idolatry.
excuse me while i gag from the horridness that is "christian pop culture"....Next they will have "Psalms Karaoke"
Nah, Psalms Karaoke would never fly since the less than 0.1 percent of the Christian world who still sing psalms have better taste than that....
It will only have 3 or 4 chords anyway, like most Christian songs. =^/
I think there are a bunch of questions in this - why copy the worldly things - the Israelites sure got in trouble when they tried to copy some of the pagan ideas. But I can also see that worldly lyrics might be less than desireable. Of course, the pagans copied a lot from God too.

Hey Brad!!! I came back to Xanga, where are you???
"dumb Christians" - that's nice.
"excuse me while i gag from the horridness that is 'christian pop culture'" - have you ever heard Christian music? What do you think it's like? There's a good amount that A) you'd never even know is Christian and B) it's equal to a bunch of music I'm sure you enjoy listening to.
And what? Because Guitar Hero has already been invented, there should be no such thing as the same for Christians? Why is that?
